In cases where greater mechanical resistance is needed by the reinforcing - bank retaining mesh for protection against rainfall, the mesh is reinforced with steel wire ropes that run vertically and diagonally the face of the construction. The dimensions of the mesh roll are 2.00m – 5.00m wide while the length, which depends on the demands of the construction, is 10m – 100m. The double twisted wire gauge dimensions are 8x10cm. The double twisted wire can guarantee the mesh endurance and efficacy even when a wire breaks.
