Prior to the installation of the wire nets all remains, roots, debris and rocks should be removed and disposed of as advised by the special consultant. Also, the ground should be dug so that the nets could be more easily installed and the lines and levels are kept as required in the technical report. Mechanical means should be used for the reforming of the slope where necessary. After the anchors are placed at the top and the bottom of the slope, a cable that holds the wire net is installed. The wire net is assembled using lacing wire or c-rings for the adjoining sides. The lacing wire should be tied tightly in a noose around every open loop in order to form a spiral of single and double loops, as shown in the diagram.
If required, cables can also be installed vertically, horizontally and diagonally in order to reinforce the wire net resistance.
