The wire cages or gabions (from the Italian gabbione which means “big cage”), are made of high-quality steel wire (Class A) & to strengthen them at their edges, high-quality (Class A) wire with a larger diameter than the braiding wire is used .
It is a box that is filled with stones or concrete for use in architectural-structural works, road works, military applications, landscaping, retaining walls, sound barriers, temporary flood walls, silt filtering from runoff, for small or temporary/permanent dams, river diversion or channel investment and a host of other applications.
