In high security fencing, a type of wire mesh is used which consists of a reinforced metal strip with closely spaced ax spikes pressed into highly elastic wire. It can be attached to existing fencing or used independently as a barrier line.
Such fences are widely used in military installations, airports, refineries, prisons, factories, homes and anywhere else high security is required.
